  • Guest, guest, where's the guest? Lucas asks what happened to the promise of a taco truck on every corner. He also reviews (finally!) the first season of Severance. Devon reviews the Hulu miniseries Candy, and compares it to the superior Love and Death, which covered the same true-life murder case. Somehow it leads to the discussion of: Has Jessica Biel ever starred in something good? Lucas does a coffee ad for a company that hasn't (so-far) sponsored us, then does a rant about life after prison. Lucas says there aren't enough resources for people getting out of prison and how the system is designed to be a revolving door. There are some entertaining (subjective) stories about life inside prison, and the culture shock of getting out after a long time behind bars. Devon does a rant about women travelling alone, but really, it's an educational talk about how to stay safe (while travelling) no matter your gender.
