Blending 1 part slasher, 1 part sci-fi, 1 part body horror and more, this rarely mentioned 1981 multi-genre mashup has all the offbeat elements that create an arguably bizarre yet fun viewing experience. We’ll discuss what makes a film like this one a curio & this film’s place in an unfinished trilogy. How many alternate titles does this film have?

Join us once again for another Ti West flick! This week we're talking the last frightening and fateful days of two unmotivated yet endearing Yankee Peddler Inn employees. How does this week's film compare to the House of the Devil and what do we think of the location and the cast this go-round? We find The Innkeepers to be a solid delight if you don't mind the mundane and lost twenty-somethings themes. Is it the perfect gateway horror? You bet!

We REALLY wish we would have caught this flick in theaters! Our trio missed this one because we all had remake sickness . . . so we all said "pass!" Woops! This 2012 meta-commentary multi-genre mashup is much better than anticipated! We discuss the days when Nextflix rented discs and when Redbox was full of undiscovered gems and germs. We also choose the character type we would be in this movie & what monsters from the whiteboard we'd choose to appease the ancient ones. Enjoy!
