    "People get tangled up when they think they should be somebody that they're not. And they try really hard to be the parent they think they should be, rather than simply being the parent that they are."

    Tools:

    • Don’t make yourself wrong. If you have a difficult encounter with the other parent/ other adults, allow yourself to move on.  Shift from thinking you are wrong to you tried something and it didn’t work, so try something different. And of course, if you need to clean something up, do that, and move on...
