The Thirty-Fourth Wednesday of Twenty Twenty Four. This Wednesday brings us two guests that share a bit about something we haven't had the chance to dive into fully just yet! Beginning with a rekindling in California, our two guests discovered their passion and started their journey within the world of mushrooms. Through education and personal experience, they gained an understanding of their benefits and opportunities, and decided to pay it forward. Spreading their knowledge through the California communities, they saw an opportunity to return to their hometown in El Paso and educate our city on the matter as well. The mission goes even deeper as they have also established a micro-farm with the purpose of providing the city with locally sourced produce resulting in many new avenues of commerce and consumption for our community. We share our conversation with them on the eve of an extremely busy weekend as they continue to make their mark here in the Sun City.
