She discusses her ability to come up with the lyrics while recording them in one-take sessions, and how the unique process changes the artists' relationship with their material.

    Hagen, who has played trumpet for Bon Iver, goes on to tell us about the in-the-moment studio situations that led to some of the album’s most striking sounds. He also teases that a third Heavy MakeUP LP could be out as early as next year.
