Anyone who is wrestling with philosophical questions should read Plato. He essentially laid the foundation for all of philosophy and had an impact on thinker long after his time. Some authors do nothing other than unpack the implications of Plato's writings. If you're reading something else, I would encourage you to put it on the back burner and start focusing on Plato. If you don't understanding something you can always reach out to the philosophy professor at your school.

Bugünkü metin şu siteden alındı: https://www.ancient-origins.net/history-important-events/bronze-age-0013179

    Metin:

The development of civilization was a long and complex process, and it always rested on industry and technology. As our ancestors stepped from one millennium to another, and the Stone Age evolved further and further, new things began appearing - a new vision and new skills. This gave rise to the Bronze Age.

As the use of stone tools became outdated and new metallurgic skills became known around the world, life became much different than before. Nomadic lifestyles were exchanged for permanent settlements and agriculture; societies were centered around powerful bronze-bearing chieftains, and trade networks became widespread and dominant. It was a new age.

    -------------------------

    Sorular ve cevapları:

What two things are key for the development of civilization?

Industry and technology are key for the development of civilization.

How was the bronze age different from the stone age?

People lived in permanent settlements. Agriculture and trade developed.

How would you describe the development of civilization?

The development of civilization is a long and complex process.
