Dr. Robert Bullard is widely considered to be the father of the environmental justice movement in the US. Dr. Bullard is a professor of urban planning and environmental policy at Texas Southern University and has worked as an advisor to Congress as well as the Clinton/Gore administration at addressing the disproportionate impacts of environmental destruction on communities of color.
