Always loved this story, especially movie with Richard Greene
Good performance, but like everyone who plays Holmes, the reading or acting was very stuffy and uptight, kind of pompous and silly. The rest of the cast was good.

Great Series but Occasionally Annoying
The story is overall an enjoyable one. The acting by all the players is superb,, but there are occasional “yeah, right” moments in the script. It also gets annoying a few times when the characters are doing a lot of yelling. But it’s worth a listen!

excellent listen for those new to Conan Doyle
excellent acting and sound design, interesting story and no deerstalker hat. I enjoyed this very much, although the voices of mortimer and stapleton sound tge same to me, which cause confusion, but that is very minor.

Listen to it right straight through. Then found the old movie with Bazil Rathbone. Love it very much
