Ep. 9 "Overwhelming is an understatement" - with Austin Lindhorst

  • Summary

  • On today’s episode I sat down and talked with Austin Lindhorst. Austin and I first crossed paths as students at Appalachian State University, where we were both studying recreation management. We quickly became friends based on our mutual love for the outdoors, our want to connect with people, and our desire to simply enjoy life as it comes our way. This is something Austin really capitalized on after college. He is someone who has learned to just take whatever life throws at him and run with it. From living at the beach working seasonal jobs, to being a camp camp counselor via zoom during the pandemic and then moving out west to work for the national parks service, Austin has done it all! All while simply following what calls to him and making the best of it. One of my favorite parts about talking with Austin is his openness to talking about the success of his journey but also the hardships and struggles. He recognizes that life comes at you in waves and he's willing to ride them out with a smile on his face. So, as always I hope this episode inspires you to do it scared, enjoy!
