Ep17: Things I hated about my sheltered childhood that I WILL be doing with my own kids.

  • Resumen

  • EP 17. Welcome back to "She's Doing Alright." In this episode, Sarah talks about growing up in a sheltered household, the rules and habits of the family, and which ones she will be bringing into her own mothering journey.

    -Reading aloud.

The Read Aloud Family is the book I mentioned.

    -no sleep-overs

Might change with time, but definitely not under 10 and after that, not at anyone else’s house.

-Computer in the living room, no private screen time.

-Family conversations about what content we consumed mostly CDs/

3 paragraph essays were required for any CD we wanted to buy. Had to include a brief background on the artist, a breakdown of their lyrics, and how we think their music will positively impact our lives.
