  • Resumen

  • This is the second episode in a three part series about the common analogies that we use in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community. More than just poetic language, these analogies are tools that help us make sense of complex ideas. This episode explores the water analogy.

we can be better

Constructive criticism bud, speak more naturally. you're doing something odd with your voice and trying to sound all Barry White on the mic...feels unnatural and is off putting. Fyi, Lee didn't come up with the water analogy. He's was a trained philosopher and likely due to his hobbyist martial arts life and eastern background was well acquainted with miyamoto musashi who published the analogy quite a few generations beforehand. Not sure if musashi even coined it but that's definitely before BL. I mean this constructively because like anyone that clicks here they are probably drawn toward martial arts and want to see the topic succeed genuinely not in an oversaturated way like most podcasts these days.
