  • Hello and welcome back! In today’s story, we do a deep dive into a very mysterious figure in Spanish and Latin American folklore: El Duende! For centuries, this gnome-like creature has existed in folklore across the western hemisphere and beyond and in the last century or so, there have been countless reports of eyewitness accounts of this creature, begging the question of its real life existence. We’re kicking this off with a listener’s eye witness account of el Duende and do our best to figure out what we believe about the creature. Buckle up, friends. This one’s a doozy!
