  • Amazingly, after 12 years of doing this podcast, we've never done a full track-by-track analysis of the Paul McCartney and Wings 1973 album, Band on the Run. We give an overview of the album's genesis and history, go through the songs, discuss the many reissues, landing on the 50th anniversary edition (with the "underdubbed" mixes) released in February 2024. Is it Paul's best album?

    We also discuss some upcoming Beatles-related releases for Record Store Day, a new Sean Lennon album, and the relaunch of our video podcast.
