  • Summary

  • Charming, chivalrous Jake Gittes is hired by the charismatic Evelyn Mulwray to look into her husband’s cheating ways. Jake’s cavalier, can-do attitude carries him to a job well done, but there’s more to the complicated case than meets the cerulean eye. He soon discovers a cavernous web of lies in the city of angels, and he must carefully navigate the complex case while dealing with his chummy feelings towards the captivating, yet certifiably cagey Mrs. Mulwray.

Will Jake be able to overcome the calculating and callous elements of the city to avoid a calamitous end? One thing is for certain: the man knows how to get chuffed.
