Prairie co-founded The Tubes and Journey, and has "banged the drum all day” (and night) for Todd Rundgren, Jefferson Starship, Chris Isaak, David Byrne, Brian Eno, Tom Waits, John Fogarty, XTC, Olivia Newton-John, Tommy Bolin, Dick Dale, Glenn Frey, Richard Marx, Phil Lesh, Nicky Hopkins, Bill Spooner and George Harrison, to name but a few. He's also a world-renowned artist and has created album covers for the The Tubes, Alice Cooper, Todd Rundgren and Journey, and designed the sets for Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Bette Midler, NSync, Shaina Twain, etc. He and Tubes bandmate Michael Cotten painted the famous Flying Records mural on the A&M building. Not to mention, he's one of the world’s nicest guys.
