  • Summary

  • Though the phrase cancel culture may be a contemporary turn of phrase, the practice is just the opposite in many ways. It part 2 of our series on cancel culture and censorship we take a look at the history of censorship and public shaming and discuss the similarities to what we see today in pop culture. We'll evaluate circumstances of individuals like Dave Chapelle, Joe Rogan and Louis C.K. who faced cancel culture head on and debate the validity of their scrutiny.
