Overall interesting story. Just know the author is a terrorist sympathizer.
I’m not ignorant or gullible. I went into this story with an open mind. Sounded interesting. And it was just that. And a very interesting story. But there were just a few things that stood out about the author. He’s very clearly anti-America. That’s obvious from the outset. Which hey, to each their own. A bit strange that a Jewish man would be pro-terrorist, anti his own well being though. But listening to a few things he said, just rubbed me the wrong way. Saying hey, isis put our journalists in orange jumpsuits because that’s what we do to them at Gitmo. Or how he understood why the guy justified burning a Jordanian pilot alive. Becusse he dropped bombs on Muslims. What the author fails to mention is yes, america puts terrorist in orange jumpsuits. Because they’re terrorists. Not journalists. And oh by the way, we don’t decapitate them and film it. Minute detail, I know. He also mentioned the Jordanian prisoner being put in an orange jumpsuit. Weird. I thought that was an American thing? I thought they did that just to Americans because we do that to them? Whoops. Interesting story. Well put together, no doubt. And I listened to all 8 episodes. I just have to call you out on the whole siding with terrorists issue bud. Sorry.

Excellent Information!
This book is very informative. However, the subject matter is difficult to comprehend. Cultural nuances and inextricable religious, relationship and social dynamics portray a mindset far removed from the western world and our current civilization.
