  • On this episode I am joined by Ming, who is a Chinese adoptee currently living in Washington! She shares how her experiences have impacted her views and the ways that she navigates relationships as an adult. We also talk about the importance of boundaries and self advocacy, which always makes my therapist heart happy. 

    It is to be noted that this was recorded back in July 2022 so some of the people she refers to in the episode may be seen as an anecdotal example who may not necessarily still be an active part of her life in the current day. 

    Some fun facts about Ming include:

    • She has traveled to almost all 7 continents
    • She has studied Mandarin for 4 years 
    • She enjoys photography, traveling, hanging with friends, and trying new food
