It actually brings more courage, closeness and strength in the relationship with your kids.

No matter how old your kids are, maybe you're 70 and your child is 50 now, never quit reaching out. Never quit telling them you love them, that you want to be with them, that you miss them.

Even if you haven't heard from them in months or they don't reach out to you.
If you know how to reach them, reach out.
If, for some reason, you don't know how to reach them, pray for them.

Every day, write letters you can send to them at some time.
Have a drawer full of them.
Express yourself to someone of how much you love your kids.
