As of the date of this episode's publishing, there have been 38 record closes (all-time highs) on the S&P 500 in 2024. There are only 114 trading days remaining on the stock market this year (2024) in the United States.

Hartley made reference to viewing a perspective of how close Presidential candidate Trump came to losing his life in the Pennsylvania campaign rally July 13. These videos show Trump's face in the shooter's cross hairs from Republic Media Network and a 3D visualization from pointconsciousness.

The Missouri Department of Transportation Rule 903.18 Signing for School Areas states, in part, if a school speed limit flasher is installed, no other school flasher should be permitted. The fixed-message School Speed Limit assembly shall consist of a SCHOOL SPEED LIMIT XX WHEN FLASHING sign. School speed limits are in effect only when the flasher is operational. The Missouri Congress of Parents and Teachers, its councils and units, support legislation stiffening the penalties for speeding through school zones.

The research department of Faith, Finances and F*Bombs could not find a Missouri standard regarding the enforcement of school zones when schools are not in session. The department will recommend, however, these helpful guidelines suggested by Louisiana Attorney Richard R. Kennedy.

    • 5th of July, Setting: Lebanon, Missouri, July 5, 1977 (premiered: 1978)

Hartley references the article detailing the signal of the final evacuation of the Vietnam War.

God as a consuming fire is not just about his judgment or discipline. It is also about his glory and majesty.

“When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, ‘He is good; his love endures forever’” (2 Chronicles 7:1-3).

There is something majestic and awesome about the presence of God, his glory consumes everything around it. When he shows up, nothing else can stand in his presence. We become like Isaiah in his vision of the Lord.

“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple” (Isaiah 6:1).

“’Woe to me!’ I cried. ‘I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty’” (Isaiah 6:5).

The overwhelming majesty of who he is will cause you to bow, whether you like it or not. This is why God is a consuming fire. Hartley encourages listeners to go before God in worship and prayer remembering who he is, why God is a consuming fire: He is trying to burn away the things that harm you and prevent you from being what he wants you to be.
