In this episode Penda Diouf tells us how she manages to write about her own experiences linking them to historical events.

She is the autor of PISTES, a theater piece about Pendas experiences as a French person of African descent, but also a piece about the genocide the German Government perpetrated in Namibia around the turn of the last century - a genocide which in part paved the way for the extermination of Jews in Hitler Germany.

Il 28 Aprile apre lo storico Trento Film Festival, nato come Festival della Montagna ben 71 edizioni fa. In questa puntata di Film in the Alps parliamo con Sergio Fant, programmatore del Trento Film Festival. Sergio ha ideato e curato programmi, tra gli altri, per il Cinema Ritrovato di Bologna, la Festa del Cinema di Roma e la Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica di Venezia, il Festival di Locarno, la Berlinale. 

Sergio ci racconta come è diventato un programmatore di festival,  di come si fa a riempire un festival con un vasto programma come il Trento Film Festival e di come è per l’appunto strutturato lo storico festival della montagna.

Questa è una puntata speciale, perchè parliamo con Tarek Ben Abdallah, grande maestro e direttore della fotografia. Tarek ha trasmesso la sua passione per il cinema e il film documentario a tantissime generazioni di studentesse e studenti del cinema documentario in Italia, specialmente alla ZeLIG, scuola di documentario di Bolzano.

Parliamo con lui di come è nata la sua passione per il cinema, del perchè imparare a girare in pellicola è ancora un passo fondamentale per imparare un metodo per giovani cineasti e dell'importanza del rapporto tra regia e fotografia nel film.

Tarek è stato una grande ispirazione nel mio percorso di giovane filmmaker, ed in quello di tante e tanti altri - credo ispirerà anche voi!
