• It's acceptable to not have it all figured out right now - A chat with Lynnette
    Jun 24 2024

Welcome back to another episode! I had the pleasure of sitting with a long time friend and we basically discussed about her first time living. Lynnette provided insight on the environment where she grew up and how over time she learned to empathise and understand others, particularly her parents.

She also explained her career choices and plans; having just completed her psychology degree, she plans to go into marketing as she aims to grow her brand - 18strxystudios.

I hope you enjoy this episode and as always any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you and until next time 🙃

  • Learn how to live for yourself - a chat with Caelan
    May 26 2024

Welcome back to another episode, I sat down with one of my friends that I've known for a while and I have to say, it was enlightening. Caelan is a person I'm in awe of, he has managed to transform his life in a few years and over time found his passion - helping people to become the best version of themselves. Suffice to say, he has faced his share of challenges in becoming the person he is but he is an inspiration who I'm proud to call a friend. Make sure you check out Caelan @caelan_engineeredaesthetics, I hope you guys enjoy this episode as much as I did and if you have any feedback, please reach out to me @firsttimeliving_ . Thank you and till next time 😁

  • "This Isn't the End of The World" - A chat with Sarah
    Apr 28 2024

I finally had my first guest😁 - in this episode, I sat down with Sarah, one of my best friends and a person who's as caring as can be.

We had a chat about her early life years, what it was like growing up trying to simultaneously fit in within two cultures, relationships and mental health.

Sarah reflects on some of her low points and how she navigated through those situations and offers some insightful advice/lessons - if I say so myself.

This conversation was an eye opener for me and I hope it will at the very least remind you that no matter what happens, we ain't giving up and there's people out there who can help.

  • Segal's Law & Private Living
    Mar 11 2024

This episode gives a glimpse into what I think it's like making decisions nowadays, I think we all have quite a few watches and it's become near impossible to tell the time - do you think having lots of options helps or hinders our decision making?

I also dabbled a bit into private living versus saying things with your chest, wholeheartedly because you genuinely believe them, let me know your thoughts on this on the podcast's instagram: firsttimeliving_

Thanks for listening as always :)

  • Does the "it is what it is" mindset cause more harm than good?
    Feb 4 2024

Today's episode, I talk about three topics that I find really interesting for different reasons. It is what it is, the rule of never multiplying by zero and being delulu being a solulu -After a lot of "do you get what I'm saying" hopefully you got something this and I look forward to your thoughts.
