    In this episode, Jason and Kirk are joined by ESPN Senior Writer Howard Bryant who alongside producer Nicole Noren, put together a documentary entitled 'The Walkout'. The documentary tells the story of a Florida high school baseball team's battle against itself. Fort Meyers HS baseball players staged a walkout on their own teammates six weeks after an assistant coach sent a text message to the team that included a racial slur. Two federal discrimination lawsuits were filed, including one by former Major League Baseball player Michael Tucker, whose son was on the team. Howard and Nicole share this story using exclusive interviews, cell phone videos, public records and police body cam footage. The documentary can be seen on ESPN's YouTube channel. The show ends with a chat on the potential of social justice protests as the 2024 Summer Olympics begin this week in Paris.

Discussion turns to gymnastics gold medal hopeful Jordan Chiles, who recently shared a story about how she almost quit gymnastics when she was younger because of racism. She stuck it out and is now seen as the heir apparent to Simone Biles. The show wraps with news that Howard University's The Mecca Society Collective has announced a NIL deal with a Black Owned and operated energy drink company out of Las Vegas. The company, 'Last Shot' will pay Howard athletes in company stock to promote their products and share a portion of sales from their premium drink to help the Mecca Society fund athletics at Howard.
