  • Do you remember going to Disneyland when it first opened and wanting to build your own park after your visit? Well so does James Burge and that is exactly what he did. He was fascinated with Frontierland so when he returned to his hometown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he lead the Oklahoma Semi-Centennial Exposition which was a fair. After the fair ended, he bought all the props from the Boom Town exhibit and that was the beginning of Frontier City.
