  • Preparing for the unknown jobs and skills of the future with Laura Overton, Shilpa Shah, Belinda Johnson & Garry Goldman  We keep hearing how the world of work has changed dramatically but hasn’t it always been evolving? We know the pace of change has increased, but not only due to the pandemic. The need to review workplace skills began with the rise of automation, which is increasingly replacing many tasks, and sometimes entire jobs.  To be truly effective, HR departments will need to think beyond skills training, and focus more on integrating learning and development with their talent and recruitment functions for a holistic view to support future skills planning. To demonstrate success, we all need to better understand our people data and analytics and use it strategically to support recruitment decision-making, talent management and succession planning.  To discuss in more detail we’re joined by author, facilitator and award-winning learning analyst Laura Overton; Global Head of Talent Acquisition at GE Healthcare Shilpa Shah; Founder of Worklab Belinda Johnson and Head of L&D at The Access Group Garry Goldman, with host Donald Taylor, Chair of Learning Technologies Conference.
