    GETTIN’ SALTY EXPERIENCE PODCAST Ep. 201 Our special guest will be 84 YO and 21 year Veteran FDNY FF Tony Van Bommel. He was assigned to Proby school in late 1967 and assigned to Engine 302 in January 1968. He transferred to newly formed 2nd section, Ladder 103-2 in August 1968. He worked there until they were disbanded in 1974. He then transferred to Engine 328 until the fiscal crisis in 1975/76. He transferred to 96 Engine in the Bronx in 1976 for about a year before going across the floor to 54 truck where he worked for the remainder of his career retiring in 1989.
