Doug Coats is the Director of Phoenix Men’s Center, from Teen Challenge Arizona. Teen Challenge provides youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian Faith-based solution to life-controlling problems to become productive members of society. Karl is originally from Minnesota. He is 32 years old. He says, "The Lord has transformed me through removing the doubt that an addiction-free life is possible, and that Jesus died for me. I, no longer have to carry the guilt, shame, and condemnation myself."

ABOUT

Damara Melissa is a singer-songwriter from Ontario Canada whose music is driven by her faith. Her soulful voice mixed with her pop melodies and style, bring a unique vibe to the Contemporary Christian Music space. After breaking into Christian Music with a single in 2020, Damara has now released her first short album, "Beginnings," which documented her journey through some painful experiences in 2020 – and she is currently working on her second EP “The Space Between”. She hopes to bring both encouragement and healing to others through her songs and point believers back to God’s faithfulness through every aspect of our lives.

BACKGROUND

Damara was born into a Caribbean home where reggae, rock, and many other kinds of music were enjoyed. However, growing up in a suburb of Toronto, she quickly grew to love the pop music that characterized most of her friends' music tastes. While music was always a deep love and source of joy, Damara only started desiring to write songs after her dad passed away in 2006. For the most part, she remained a closet songwriter until 2020, when she could no longer deny the call on her life to encourage others through song.

DISCOGRAPHY

Damara showcased her budding talent as a songwriter with her first release “A New Day” in August 2020. After which, she committed to growth in all areas of her artistry, and released another single “Burdens” in January 2021. After receiving tremendous support for "Burdens" Damara began working on an EP of songs she had written in 2020 as well as a cover mashup tribute to her father. “BRAVE” kicked off her EP, releasing as a single in July 2021 and the cover mashup of “As the Deer” and “His eye is on the Sparrow” released in August 2021. Damara's full EP released on February 25th, 2022 which included additional songs: "Invisible," "Where I Want to be," "Rise Above".

“Holy of Holies” were released March 3, 2023, and April 28th , 2023 respectively. Both songs were well received by fans and listeners.

MILESTONES

While Damara is still fairly new to the Christian Music scene, she has received over 1M streams on Spotify for her music collection. Three of her songs have received airplay on multiple Canadian Christian Radio stations, “Where I Wanna Be” even making it onto Joy Radio’s top 20 Canadian music list. Damara also received a Covenant Award Nomination for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” in 2022, and a second nomination for Pop Song of the Year for “Don’t Give Up Now” in 2023.

WHAT'S NEXT

The first song off of Damara’s second EP “The Space Between” is set to release June 7th! As she begins to release some songs this summer, Damara is continuing to work with her producer to bring the last 3 EP songs to life. She hopes to have the entire short album released by fall of 2024.

Amanda Hagel's Biography

Amanda Hagel, an Inspirational/Country music artist, has made it her mission to create music that uplifts, empowers, and inspires her listeners. Over the past decade, Amanda has gained both national and international recognition for her talents as a performer and songwriter. Growing up on a farm near Lancer in southwest Saskatchewan, Amanda’s upbringing was steeped in country living, fostering her deep appreciation for country music. Influenced by female country legends like Martina McBride, Patty Loveless, and Alison Krauss, Amanda developed her love for singing, playing guitar, and song writing.

Her musical family, being the youngest of nine siblings, also played a significant role, with music being a central part of family gatherings and events. In addition to her country music roots, Amanda has embraced the title of an “Inspirational Artist.” This unique genre reflects her faith-based upbringing and personal spiritual journey, leading her to create music grounded in faith, authenticity, integrity, truth, and love. Amanda’s music is a heart-centered expression, conveying powerful messages that resonate deeply with her audience. Beyond her music career, Amanda is also passionate about health and wellness. Amanda’s experience as a fitness coach has taught her the importance of balance and groundedness in all aspects of life. Amanda’s musical achievements are impressive. She was a national finalist in the 2015 Canadian CBC Searchlight Competition, won the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Country Gospel Album of the Year award in 2017, and was a finalist in the 2018 USA International Song Writing Competition for her song, "Listen with Your Heart." In 2022, she received an honorable mention in the International Song Writing Competition for her song “Be the Light” and for “These Roots” in 2023. Amanda was also nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Spiritual Artist of the Year in2022. Her 2023 single, “These Roots,” achieved significant success, with music video placements on CMT.com and a live premiere on the U.S. National Network Heartland.

Amanda’s discography includes 12 singles released to country radio, 25 official music videos, and four albums. Her songs and their uplifting messages continue to resonate with audiences worldwide. Collaborating with Canadian award-winning producer Bart McKay, Amanda’s new single “Call on Me” delivers an incredibly uplifting message of strength, hope, and the power of the human spirit. Rita Hervey is a servant of the Lord. Writing grew as a passion when an English teacher, Mr. Robert Earlywine, introduced her to it in the ninth grade at Beaumount High School, St. Louis, Missouri. Her passion for writing has directed her to one of her many purposes as a Christian. Rita is currently working on a book.

Marina Maria is the Founder of Global Gospel Worship Radio and the Host of Faith City Outreach radio program where Christian pastors, leaders, authors, singers are interviewed from all over the world. Marina's second book of poetry, Seasons: ABBAS's Writers Anthology, can be purchased through Amazon. She is working on a third book, After the Rainbow, and plans to be published in 2024.

Bio of Dimas Cortez

Dimas Cortez was born is Los Angeles, CA and later moved with his family to Reading, PA where he now leads the music program at his local church. Dimas attended Christian Life College and received an Associates in Music and later studied nursing and is currently serving his community as a Music director and a Nurse Practitioner. He is currently partnering with Landry Cantrell for music production/engineering. He recently released one full album called "Better Day" in 2021. He is inspired by artists such as Bj Putnam, Natalie Grant, For King and Country, Lauren Daigle, and Riley Clemons to name a few.
