Today we will discuss the discipline of rest. Rest is an essential part of our life that is often taken for granted, especially in the USA. But God tells us to rest. Its part of being able to tackle the responsibilities we have in this world. We are to labor for 6 days and then rest on the 7th.

Questions to ask yourself: Am I really rested? Does my soul feel weary? Does my body feel weary? Am I anxious all the time? Do I seem easily angered? Does my tasks I need to complete seem endless? Am I depressed?

If any of these seem to be a big part of your life, maybe you should consider resting in God. In this episode we go over a few practices that might help you learn how to rest.

In this episode we examine praise and worship. Will we have to endure a church service in the sky forever? How are praise and worship different how are they similar?

Praise is done in the fleshly realm. Such as by raising your hand to a song. But check your heart intentions, so that you can give God the kind of praise he wants from you. We do this by surrendering our flesh to God.

Worship is what happens in the spiritual realm after the praise has gone up. Worship also happens when we let go of our burdens and give it to God. Anything that you do with the intention of making the Lord part of the action can be a form of worship.

We also talk about the Hebrew words for praise: Hallel, Tehilah, Zamar, Yadah, Todah, and Barach. When the praises go up God can come down among his people.
