  • On today’s episode we’re talking with Brigitte Gemme about her transition to a plant-based lifestyle. We talk about what led her to go vegan, how her husband and children responded, how to be curious and compassionate, and how she’s helping others in the kitchen. 

     

    About Brigitte:

    Brigitte loves to empower others to take charge of their health and live in line with their values. She is the author of the book Flow in the Kitchen: Practices for Healthy Stress-Free Vegan Cooking. On her website veganfamilykitchen.com. she teaches workshops about all aspects of plant-based cooking and nutrition. She offers a meal planning service and is known as a batch cooking wizard! Before deciding to change careers to teach healthy vegan cooking, Brigitte trained as a sociologist of education and managed research projects in academia. Aside from a PhD in education, she obtained a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the University of Guelph. She lives in Vancouver (Canada) with her husband and two kids, all of whom are very active and always hungry.
