Good Game New Zealand

By: Layla Loots
  • Summary

  • As per traditional sport, GG (Good Game) is a term also used by most gamers when the game has ended as a token of saying thank you. Both teams say GG to one another and their teammates. This term has no gender or negative connotations associated with it. GG recognises the value of the skills used in the game, the opposing players, and your teammate, and still thanks them no matter the outcome.

GG: NZ is a podcast focused on bringing transparency to the esports, gaming, and tech industry in New Zealand from a female voice. In New Zealand, various podcasts are focused on gameplay but little on the industry surrounding it. There are truths tucked away from the public eye that need to be brought into the conversation.
