What does purpose look like? Everyone’s looking for it, but where do we find it? We find it in our Creator. In this episode we will look into the life of Jesus and see how he was propelled into purpose. But it may not look like purpose at first. Sometimes purpose is a challenge, a test, a trial, a mountain that is before us. We will discuss this today.

Sometimes in life, we can believe that failures are final. The damage is done. We’re too broken to be mended back together. We have too many issues in our lives and there is no help.

There was a lady in the Bible who was a Samaritan. Born with issues, and she made decisions which added more issues to her life, but that didn’t keep Jesus away from her. But Jesus “must needs go through Samaria.” (John 4:4). Jesus is not afraid of our issues. But He wants to offer help and Salvation.

Believe it or not, Jesus Christ desires to lead us from the moment we wake up until the moment we fall asleep each and every day of our lives. Scripture tells us that the spirit of truth will guide us into all truth. That’s insinuating that the Holy Spirit (which is Jesus Christ) desires to lead and guide us every day and at every moment.

In this episode, we will take a journey through the Bible and review some biblical truths of being led by the Holy Spirit. There are some biblical steps that we must obey and follow after. We must hunger to be little guy and be obedient to His voice.

Our human nature will sometimes go to extremities when we sin before God. But God's Word has a simply, yet powerful truth that we need.

Romans 5:20 says, "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:"

In the moment we sin, grace is available to reach us. It's His Amazing Grace that is available to us all. It's there to pick you up. Don't believe in the condemnation, believe in His Grace! It is greater than your sin. You can't go too deep that Jesus can't reach you. His love, grace, and mercy is available and is greater than our sin!

What if God has placed you in an ordained stand-still. Where you can’t go forward. You can’t go backwards. A similar story is found in the Book of Exodus where God allow His people to run into the Red Sea and the Egyptians are closing in on them. It was an ordained stand-still, but God was in control and He is in control in your life also!

There was a quote I heard years ago by Sis. Vesta Mangun. She said, “Everyday we go without prayer and reading the Word, we give our to the devil.”

Who has your day? Every morning we are faced with a challenge of who gets our day? Will it be Satan or Jesus Christ? I pray this episode encourages you and informs you of the importance of daily prayer and Bible reading.

What can we learn from afflictions? Well there’s quite a few things we learn today. While Jesus was with the disciples, He allowed a storm into their lives and it revealed the fear and lack of faith in their lives (Mark 4:35-40)

Takeaways from today’s episode:
• We shouldn’t have a “God, save me” mentality all the time.
• We shouldn’t have a “God, why me” mentality. Or playing victim.
• God wants to REVEAL His character to us in the storm.
• God, out of love, wants to REVEAL our flawed character during the storm.
