We have reached the famous section in Hebrews (11:3-40) where it lists men and women of God and recounting how they had faith...This passage can be quickly read through and completely missed as a place of encouragement and direction for us today.

The Hebrews were going through challenges and difficulties, feeling discouraged (sounds familiar to anything you are going through?), and the writer comes to recount their history, just as a coach would remind a discouraged team of the history and legacy or their club. How in the past they overcome adversity and how now they can remember that as in incentive to continue persevering.

Pastor Caleb finishes out Hebrews 10 this week.

Although the end of Hebrews 10 may seem dark and hopeless, but when we understood the heart of God wand the salvation we have though His son, it is a reminder full of hope. A reminder to not run back when going through hardship, but to keep the faith and walk with our eyes set on our hope Jesus and the eager anticipation of His return.

We finish up Hebrews 10 with 3 invitations to not us as individuals, but us together as a church body.

God's design for holding fast to the work of Christ which we have been reading all through Hebrews, is about leaning in to the local body of Christ.

Join us as we read through Hebrews 10:19-25 and see what those 3 invitations are...and fun fact, they all starts with "let us".

Long time friend of Harvest, Pastor Pablo Di Gilio from Church Project Miami came to visit and speak Gods word to us this week.

Out of Hebrews 10, we are reminded what it truly means that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice.

It means no more payments of sin is needed, no matter what day we are having or how much we mess up, God sees us through the lens of Jesus. Our perfect sacrifice. And because of this we can praise Him and walk in the freedom he purchased for us on the cross. Thank you Jesus!

Welcome Home!

This week at Harvest, Elder, Jim Rinner takes us through Hebrews 9.

This passage of scripture shows us how an earthly sacrifice, presented in an earthly tabernacle, had to be offered daily to cover people’s sin. But we now have a better sacrifice, Jesus Christ, a sacrifice that is so much better that it only had to be offered once, and this better sacrifice made a way for us to enter the heavenly tabernacle. What a hope, what a love, what a sacrifice.
