Hear We Have Idaho will focus on the issues and events that impact Idaho’s citizens and families. Each week we will visit those that are writing Idaho’s story and keeping the spirit of our state song alive with hosts Victor Miller and Tom Luna.

Idaho Chooses Life is a leading voice of the pre-born child in Idaho. Our sole objective is to provide accurate information and resources to mothers, families, health organizations, and elected officials to help them preserve the sanctity of life.

Idaho Chooses Life was founded as a political action committee in 1996 to support pro-Life candidates for public office and to lobby for preborn children at the Idaho Legislature. It remains the only social conservative PAC registered in Idaho. It is our firm belief that every candidate for public office ought to have a pro-Life value system. Respect for the sanctity of human life is a foundational principle of Western Civilization. Without a basic appreciation of the human being’s value—no person is qualified to hold public power over others. We seek to support the work of other pro-Life organizations — whether in the Legislature, in pregnancy centers staffed by dedicated volunteers around the state or in our churches. We give glory to God for the miracle of Dobbs and celebrate the fact that the Defense of Life Act is now the law in Idaho. Thousands of babies have already been saved.

But the work is not done. We must redouble our efforts to ensure that every child is welcomed into the human family – not only here in Idaho, but across the land.

Sean’s love for baseball started at a young age with a father who coached him and his 2 brothers. His dad coached and older brother played in the Little League World Series in 1995 (Yorba Hills Little League).

Sean went on a few years later to set a season home run record in that league and area with 26 HRs his 12 yr old year. Sean went on to Esperanza HS in Anaheim, CA and earned 1st team All-League (co-MVP) and All-County honors. After he signed to attend and play at UC Davis, he was led back to Orange County to play at Saddleback Community College. Just before the spring season of 2006, Sean rededicated his life to Christ. He went on to become the Triple Crown winner (leader in AVG, HR, and RBI), Conference Player of the Year, and 1st Team All-American. He then signed with Pepperdine University; where his older brother, Patrick played and younger brother, Colin, would later go on to play.

In June, the Washington Nationals drafted him in the 8th round of the 2006 MLB First Year Player Draft. Sean received Gulf Coast Nationals Player of the Week twice in 2006 and was named a South Atlantic League All-Star in 2008. The Hagerstown Suns named him Defensive Player of the Year in 2008 as well.

In January 2009, tragedy struck Sean’s family with the loss of his father and older brother. After Sean played for AAA Syracuse in 2010, he stepped away from playing the game knowing and trusting that God would place him where he could be most impactful. He joined staff with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Baseball Division in Southern California. He coached collegiate players with the FCA So Cal Catch and then launched/coached the Catch high school and youth teams. Now, he serves as the FCA Canyon County Director in Idaho.
