True wealth is walking closely with God and resting in His provision.

Sloth isn’t just about laziness—it’s about avoiding what truly matters. In Proverbs, the “sluggard” isn’t someone who can’t act, but someone who won’t—choosing comfort and distraction over responsibility and faithfulness. Whether it’s physical apathy or spiritual drift, sloth slowly numbs our hunger for God and His kingdom. The cure isn’t to try harder but to love deeper—because genuine love for God and others always leads us to meaningful, faithful action.
