Bucktail Medical Center CEO Tim Reeves asked why no one sought services at BMC and local activist Donna Kshir freely shared her experience as to why people bypass the local facility and seek medical services/treatment elsewhere. Even facing criticism during a town hall meeting, Donna spoke on her personal experience. Whether you agree or disagree with her, when you go into a facility you are the patient. You are to be treated with dignity, respect, and empathy not embarrassed and humiliated by the doctor treating you. The hospital is vital to the community, Donna strongly agrees, but in order to increase foot traffic in the hospital, you must have a strong leader, a dedicated staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Donna Kshir speaks candidly about what she thinks it will take to make Renovo flourish again. Donna believes the community needs to stop looking for an investor to save their community, in hopes of selling the contaminated brownfield known as the Old Renovo Rail, but work together to make it happen by working together. The community (businesses, organizations, people, etc) needs to come together as a whole and work together to promote tourism. By working together we promote the whole community from Hyner to Kettle Creek not just one particular location and/or entity.
