This race is a nice refresher from all the normal road and trail races out there. If you're looking for something a little different, this is the race! Strip back all the commercial hoopla and fancy timing and take it back to just a stop watch for time and someone at the finish calling out your time for you. Also, the course is one to challenge the toughest most experienced runners. You need to put this one on your list of trail marathons to try.

It's time to talk about our trip out to Western States Endurance Run. We'll dive into a little more detail about the race, crewing, our setup as a crew and more. This is a race that is near and dear to our hearts and one I'd highly recommend if you enjoy the sport of ultra running. You don't have to run it to enjoy this race either.
