As our “Fruits of the Spirit” series comes to an end, we want to remind each of you to be an example of Christ in all that you do. All of these characteristics we spoke about the last 9 episodes have been traits of His Spirit and we are called to live in the same way. Having self control keeps us disciplined from sins and protects us from evil. It also keeps our emotions in check to ensure that we do not lash out or act foolishly with others.

God is the prime example of what good is in a world filled with evil. He shows mercy, love, and patience with all of us. Regardless of the way we treat him, he treats us in the best way possible. In a way that we are not worthy of. But he does it because he is good, not because we are. We should strive to be as good as he is to others in our everyday lives, regardless of how others treat us.
