In this episode we talk about The Prodigal Son. We think we touched on this topic before, but not fully. The Prodigal Son is a story about a son who takes his father’s inheritance early and uses the wealth on worldly things that leave him lonely, poor, and helpless. He realizes his wrongs and returns to his father in hopes that he can gain forgiveness. When he comes home, his father greets him and adorns him in the finest clothes, hosting a celebration at his return. We discuss in this episode what this parable means and how it relates to our walk with Christ.

Whether you like it or not, everything in this world is temporary. All of it will end or fade away at some point in time. But there is one thing that we should hold onto that is eternal, and that is Christ. He will never end. His love will never end. Through Him, our souls will be eternal. Lots of people today see any critique as being judged. When this happens, they are quick to pass the blame to the person that they think is judging them. This isn’t saying that judgement doesn’t happen, but when it comes to our faith we are often being held accountable for our sins. Christ tells us to lift one another up and help each other in our sin, not turn a blind eye and let our brother dwell in evil.
