  • Episode 8 brings you, Ms. Amina Umuhoza an entrepreneur, menstruation activist, and champion of adolescent sexual and reproductive health in Rwanda. She is the CEO of SAYE company Ltd. Ms Amina is also a member of the MasterCard Foundation Youth Advisory group. Due to her achievement, she is recognized among the top 40 Education Innovators in Africa by the African Union. Recently, Ms Amina was appointed as the president of the JCI Rwanda.

    In this episode, Ms. Amina takes us from her early childhood but mostly her first trip to the United States of America, when she was selected among many other kids to accompany His Excellence Paul KAGAME the president of Rwanda to receive the award that he won. This trip opened Ms. Amina’s ambitions when she returned back home and started to dream bigger.

    Ms. Amina also shares many ideas of how the African governments can contribute to already existing challenges facing African women, especially adolescents, and teenage mothers. She sends a stronger message to African women and young and upcoming entrepreneurs.
