Insecurities about Language: The Death of Language within Jacqueline's Family

  • Summary

  • Welcome Language Learners to the Insecurities about Language podcast: The Death of Language and to an exciting topic I am tackling called the Death of Language...within families! In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jacqueline S. Sadberry, a small-town girl hailing from Texas. She is a poet, self-published author, and passionate language lover. Between studying Japanese, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and writing her second novel, she also assists people with becoming conversational in Spanish, Japanese and English. You can find her on YouTube and Instagram under JSS Media: Langs.

***corrections from Jacqueline: My oldest aunt was the last one who could speak it and she passed last year. (My other aunt was the second or third oldest girl, but she learned through a member at church. That's the one who passed 4-5 years ago.)
