  • My motto is"My life is an exclamation point!" 95% of the time, that's true. I'm bubbly, fun-loving, and silly. I can also be straightforward, silent, and distant. All of those beautiful traits can exist consistently in one human. I know this very well! The challenge comes when I hit roadblocks and the weight of the world compounds and I find myself leaning into things I can't control versus releasing them and trusting the Lord. Suddenly, I have a problem for every solution, my days are long and my temper is short. It's in those instances that I'm reminded to lean into my joy. The deep belly seed of comfort, security, and safety. We all have it. We were born with it, placed there by the Lord so whenever you find the dark cloud hovering, remember to tap into your supply of joy. It's there on the easy days and the challenging ones, we just have to be intentional about receiving it.
