  • Summary

  • On the 14th of October 2023, the Australian Government asked the Australian people to vote on changing the Australian Constitution to recognise Indigenous Australians through a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

    This was rejected nationally.

However, in the Northern Territories remotest communities 73% returned a YES Vote.

The Voice to Parliament podcast is a post-referendum look at the needs of remote Australia and Indigenous peoples and urgent changes that need to be made.

This series is a chance for Pintubi, Anmatjerre and Warlpiri people to have their say and to be heard, in their languages and on their Country.
