Today’s guest is Alex Evangelista, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who has been walking faithfully with the Lord for many years. But Alex’s journey didn’t start there. He spent a significant part of his life involved in gang activity, cycling in and out of jail and prison. Even in the midst of darkness, seeds of truth and hope were being planted in his life. Ultimately, God stepped in and began to convict Alex’s heart, leading him away from destruction and into a powerful relationship with Jesus.

Today, I’m joined by Joey Swisher. Joey grew up in a community heavily impacted by gang activity. During his early years, he was frequently involved in physical altercations. Some of these confrontations escalated into dangerous shootouts. Tragically, one of these incidents resulted in the death of Joey’s closest friend. Overcome with grief and anger, Joey pursued a path of vengeance for an extended period of time. It was only through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ that he was set free from his rage, drugs, and alcohol.

Today, I’m joined by Tracey Smith. Tracey currently leads a ministry called Cowboys & Outlaws Prison Ministry. She does outreach to those in prison and to people experiencing homelessness. But before she was called to this ministry, she had a past. Tracey grew up in a rough home, became addicted to drugs, and was jailed over 20 times. During her final time locked up, she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ.
