10 years is a long time to be doing anything and on the brink of Scott Taylor's tenth anniversary as the Newton Iowa YMCA Sports Director I was invited to sit down and discuss what has led to a long career and what is coming down the road for the sports program. 

Alex takes thing out of the studio this time! He is sitting down with antique tractor pull director Ralph Oliver overlooking the area that host the Old Threshers Antique Tractor Pull every Labor Day weekend to discuss not just the tractor pull, but all the other great parts of the event that Ralph helps with to make this event a great way to cap off every summer. 

Alex went on vacation and came back an interview! President and GM of the Lancaster Barnstormers Mike Reynolds and they discussed the growth of the organization and the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Then Alex threw in a little something extra!  

Alex gives a little look at the fun and joy (as well as the business end) of summer baseball. Then a little bird slipped some secret audio is leaked to regarding the mental status of Vince McMahon.  

As we return from a little break, Alex introduces a new segment "You're The Worst" were we give attention to someone in sports that does not deserve it but since no press is bad press the are all over the news. A small discussion on the end of the NBA season is had.

Recapping my experience of my first Newton Nitehawks football game at H.A. Lynn Stadium. We also look at the big stories coming out of the first round of the NBA playoffs, the NFL draft and talk a little bit about whats coming down the pipeline.  

Alex gets to sit down with the Owners of the Newton Nitehawks Gordan Head and mark Mackerman to discuss the impending return to the Newton Area for the first time since the 1970's. We look at the original team history and the process of recreating the organizations and bringing it to a whole new generation. 

Alex discusses the current condition of the Seattle Kraken after what might be the first worst loss in franchise history, the NFL's big moves in Vegas and Green Bay and the start of MLB. All this while preparing to drop the Easter weekend episode the next morning!
