  • Jacqui Marpa moved to Michigan from the Philippines when she was 15 years old. She'd studied up on America by watching High School Musical, so she was ready to perform when she got here. She began doing stand-up in Lansing, Mich., when she was 19 and has performed across the Midwest and made it to Sketchfest in San Francisco back in February. She's really funny, no matter what anybody in a bowling alley tells you.
