  • At the age of forty, with four young children Janis had a sudden twist in life with the start of her husband's manic behavior ultimately leading to Bi-Polar diagnosis. Janis describes the challenges of trying to keep some form of family stability with little knowledge or support of his mental illness. Twenty some years later, Janis and Chuck have been fortunate enough to volunteer and give back to the mental health community through NAMI Wilmington.
