  • John Wayne Gacy, nato il 17 marzo del 1942, è stato un serial killer dei più misteriosi e anche quello che più si avvicina a un immaginario horror, soprannominato appunto Killer Clown. Rapì, torturò, sodomizzò e uccise 33 persone, di cui 28 le seppellì sotto la sua abitazione o le ammassò in cantina.
    Il suo tetro soprannome deriva dal fatto che intrattenesse i bambini durante alcune feste con costume e trucco da clown, facendosi chiamare Pogo il Clown.
