• Entura Art with Tracy Latz
    Sep 23 2024

Art can be such a fickle endeavor, most often requiring years or training, practice, and experience. But finally, we've found an art form where all of those things are more of a hindrance than a benefit.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts. The show will be turning three years old on Friday! I'm hoping to get a special little year 3 episode out, and i would love to feature comments, questions, or reviews on that episode. Send whatever you've got to DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com

My guest today is Tracy Latz. Tracy is many things, with many very impressive degrees, but she's most proud of her work with Entura Art. It's a type of drawing or painting that require the artist to be blindfolded and unaware of the artwork unfolding in front of them. This is perfect for people like me who can't understand anatomy, perspective, or color theory. It also leans more towards the side of the audience that love psychics, mediums, and other unusual studies; because it touches on a lot of them from the view of a clinical psychiatrist. ( Www.MagicMind.Com/Dumb20 ) ( Www.ShiftYourLife.Com ) ( LatzTalk@Gmail.Com ) ( http://www.youtube.com/@ShiftYourlLifeNow ) ( https://a.co/d/3gZ46nZ will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "The Mystical World of Entura Art: Connecting with Spirit Via Intuitive Art" )

    Let's finally make meaningful art!

I love that all of this can be done, very easily, for less than $5. I went down to the nearby dollar store, bought two huge sheets of thick paper to cut up, a bucket of bright colored chalk, and a sleep mask for basically pocket change. I'm tempted to do some and post them on the Instagram, but I'd love to see and even post Entura artwork done by the audience.

In other news, September is creeping towards an end, so here's the updated rankings:

    1. The United States, with New York, Texas, and Oregon leading the charge. 2. England of the United Kingdom. 3. Australia, with Victoria now holding a small lead over New South Wales. 4. Canada, with Ontario way out front. 5. Ireland, now beating Ghana! With just a week left, it's anyone's guess who will win in September.

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! Until the next episode, pretty please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. • Heart Disease with Andrew Kadar
    Sep 16 2024

When the resume says: Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and Cedar Sinai as past training and education, you can usually trust the opinion as it relates to their specialty. The exception is when it relates to yourself...

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Andrew Kadar. Dr. Kadar is a fan of the show with over four decades of work as an anesthesiologist. Despite all of this he missed his own heart disease diagnosis until it nearly killed him. He's with us today to explain heart disease a bit, tell us some risk factors, and ultimately prove that his situation was not as unique as you might think. ( Www.GettingBetterDoc.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/fNLK36d will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Getting Better: A Doctor’s Story of Resilience, Recovery, and Renewal" )

Let's not deny our own mortality! (Jeez, that's a dark way to start a show...)

Side note, I've had multiple family members now actually require heart surgery over the years, and even a few that have passed away from untreated conditions, so I'm trying to stay very aware of my own risk. I would hope you're all doing the same, keeping yourselves in good health for a long time to come.

In other news, September is well underway, so here's the updated rankings so far:

    1. The United States, taking back first place thanks to New York, Texas, and Illinois. 2. England of the United Kingdom, rocketing back up the list. 3. Australia, with Victoria now holding a small lead over Queensland. 4. Canada, with Ontario maintaining a healthy lead. 5. Ireland... tied with Ghana! What a race!

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! • September Week 2 announcement
    Sep 10 2024
Hey everyone, I just wanted to put out a quick announcement that there won't be an episode this week. I've been dealing with a serious medical condition and just needed to prioritize it this time. I hope you all understand, and there will be a new episode next week as scheduled. If you feel like you're missing out on this wonderful show, please check out the very large back catalog of episodes for some fantastic interviews. I'd love it if you could leave good reviews on Apple Podcast or Spotify to help the show reach more people, and as always you can reach me at dumbenoughpodcast@gmail.com or on any of the social media pages. Take care of yourselves, thank you for listening, and stay dumb. ( Fun background music by Rachie )

  • Immigrating For A Better Life with Ilona Seddik
    Sep 3 2024

There's this prevailing thought that immigration has to be from your home country to the other side of the world, but our expert today shows that sometimes: Those are the easier types of moving.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Ilona Seddik. Ilona made several big moves in her life, going from the arctic circle, to central Russia, and then to the United States. Its a fascinating story with all kinds of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, but Ilona shares all of the good and the bad with us. Shockingly, Ilona has only been speaking English for two years, and yet it's far better than most people I have met with ten years of English as a second language. I also really enjoy her accent, and hopefully you will too. ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilona-seddik-069011203/ ) ( https://www.youtube.com/@ilonaseddik/videos )

Let's make the right relocation for us!

I know there was a lot to take in on this one, but so much of it is so critical to being who you want to be, and living the way you dreamed of.

In other news, August is over and September has begun. Here's the updated rankings for the new month:

    1. Canada, with Ontario pushing the country to an early lead. 2. The United States, holding second place thanks to Ohio, Texas, and Massachusetts. 3. Ireland! Making a triumphant return! 4. Australia, with Queensland and Victoria competing for the top spot. 5. England of the United Kingdom, holding a one listener lead over Ghana.

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! • Is Marijuana Bad?! with Raymond Wiggins
    Aug 27 2024

The wide approval of marijuana can be seen through most of the Western Hemisphere, and we hear about supposed benefits regularly... But are there secret detriments that we haven't heard about?

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Raymond Wiggins. Dr. Wiggins not only shares a last name with the greatest mind in science fiction, he is also recognized by US Governor Greg Abbott. Call him a doctor, a dentist, or a surgeon; just don't call him uninformed. Raymond breaks down a bunch of highly technical research to spoon feed us the whole truth on what he has seen inside this very thick data. I do want to be up front in saying I'm not taking a pro or anti stance here. My job is to ask all the questions that an audience might want to know, and to keep my opinion largely to myself. I would be just as happy to have a medical professional come on to share the positives they see in their studies. ( Www.DrWiggins.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/gXk63LQ will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Weeding Out the Myths About Marijuana" )

Let's see how the green lady affects our body!

I certainly hadn't heard most of this before the interview, and it surprised me quite a bit. I'd love to have someone speak for the opposite side now, so I don't just see it as a health crisis like cigarettes...

In other news, August is nearly over and the rankings are a little wild:

    1. England of the United Kingdom, holding it's lead for a potential upset of the norm. 2. The United States, still held up by New York, California, and Oregon. 3. Ghana, now pushing into the top 3! What a major upset! 4. Canada, with Ontario way out front. 5. Australia, with New South Wales and Victoria neck and neck.

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! • Hypnosis and Hypnotism with Trisha Fuller
    Aug 21 2024

For those who read the title, don't worry: We won't be hypnotizing you today. So you can work, drive, write, or do yard work in peace. Although if you're open to suggestion: Might I recommend leaving a review for the show on Apple Podcasts or Spotify?

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Trisha Fuller. Trisha is a trainer with the Master Hypnotist Society, which sounds much more dark and mystical that it is... probably. Trisha went from a bad experience with hypnosis not working at all, to having a full time career as a wildly successful hypnotist.

She's here today to demystify the field and process a bit, so we understand how it works, why it might not, and what incredible things it can do.

    ( Www.MagicMind.Com/JustDumb20 - Code: Dumb20 ) ( Www.LearnHypnosis.Ca ) ( Www.MasterHypnotistSociety.Com )

    Let's embrace self hypnosis!

I always wanted to study hypnotism for it's benefits, but I had no idea there so many. Now I just need some hypnosis to overcome my erratic fascinations with new things every week.

In other news, August is over halfway done and the rankings have updated in a surprising way:

    1. England of the United Kingdom, overtaking the US for maybe the first time ever this late in a month. 2. The United States, now held up by New York, California, and Oregon. 3. Canada, with Ontario widening their lead. 4. Ghana, now pushing it's way passed the always present... 5. Australia, with New South Wales and Victoria keeping their heads above water.

  • Indie Author with Bob McGough
    Aug 13 2024

What do a lizard-man, a ham sandwich, a redneck wizard, and a druidic game warden have to do with each other? Our expert today exemplifies that independent authors have all the limitless creativity and access they could ever need to find an audience that loves their work.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Bob McGough. Bob is an indie author and game designer who isn't afraid to tell the truth about what happens once you publish a book, no matter the outlet. He values transparency in a field that intentionally tries to obfuscate what "good sales" are, and breaks down the real milestones that make writing such a valuable tool for so many creative people.

    ( Www.MagicMind.Com/JustDumb20 - Code: Dumb20 ) ( Www.TalesByBob.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/9h46G1M will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Book 1 of The Jubal County Saga" ) ( Www.https://open.spotify.com/show/0d08qPSdQcs4MEC0Z2b7Y2 for "Books, Beards, Booze" Podcast )

Let's publish our own stories and be proud that we finished!

There's something about redneck wizard that will make me laugh every time, and I think it's partially the mental image of Harry Potter with a shotgun, and how exactly the "magic" makes things disappear.

In other news, August is chugging along and the rankings have updated just a little:

    1. The United States, still led by New York, California, and Illinois. 2. England of the United Kingdom. 3. Canada, still barely led by Ontario, with British Columbia just behind. 4. Australia, with New South Wales now leading Victoria by two listeners. 5. Ghana, once again overtaking New Zealand.

  • Ghostwriting with Doug Crowe
    Aug 6 2024

I love writing for my own enjoyment, but many people do it for a living. Some of these people write a dozen books a year, only to put someone else's name on it.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Doug Crowe. Doug founded and runs a company specializing in "ghostwriting". It's not journalism for the dead, although that would also be super cool, it's writing out books and novels for people who have a story and money, but no extra time. These ghost writers work tirelessly to ensure that every book they touch can reach a wider audience and have a meaningful impact.

    ( Www.MagicMind.Com/JustDumb20 - Code: Dumb20 ) ( Www.AuthorYourBrand.Com ) ( Www.AuthorityFusion.Com )

Let's either start writing, or start getting paid for our writing!

It seems almost counter intuitive to be a career writer who never gets credit for their own work, but considering the average book sales topping out before you sell 300 copies: It is actually much more profitable to write for people who already have money and a story.

In other news, August is now here and the rankings have updated just a little:

    1. The United States, led by New York, Illinois, and California. 2. England of the United Kingdom. 3. New Zealand. 4. Canada, led by Ontario, with British Columbia just behind. 5. Australia, with Victoria now leading New South Wales.

Ghana did beat New Zealand in a last minute victory for July.
