Attracting the opposite gender might just be one of the most important things a man will do in his lifetime. We want someone great by our side whether it’s for a temporary entanglement or a long-term relationship. But I've been talking to a lot of men in my life and online that seem to have more and more trouble attracting women and creating meaningful relationships with them.

We should beware of the sickness modern society is falling in, we do not know what values are needed to be upheld or changed, are the values you’ve had during the majority of your life worthy of being upheld? Do they make sense and do they hold up against the raw, vicious nature of our world? It seems everywhere we look we’re able to see cracks in the way our society is built, the way we function in modern society seems to relegate us to tools for the profit of markets, tools for other's wealth-building rather than living life in the, albeit, selfish pursuit of living life in a way we can deem as meaningful.

Depression in the modern world is a widespread phenomenon, we rightfully put so much emphasis on making sure people knew about depression that it became part of our culture. Now a days even children and teenagers self diagnose themselves with depression when they’re simply going through the pain everybody feels at the point in your life where you start to understand more about the world and its workings. When you start to think about your place on this weird confusing planet and what you want to do with your life it pushes you to see how hard life can actually be and there’s an understandable reaction of angst and fear that comes with those thoughts and it’s easier to say that there is something inherently wrong with you to justify your inability to go forward and create a place in the world for yourself that doesn’t feel like hell.

Modern technology is undoubtedly a good event for human societies, increases in productivity have made it possible for us to get off the fields and have easier jobs.

Economic structures gave us security in regards to our food, water and shelter.

This gave us more time for leisure, consumption, and the conquest of our inner lives.

But what we started to see is that humans seem to have an increase in feelings of meaninglessness and existential dread.
