In December of 1900, three lighthouse keepers mysteriously disappeared. James Ducat, Thomas Marshall and Donald McArthur were supposedly to be at the lighthouse when a relief boat arrived to bring supplies, but they were gone, the island still and empty.

Thought there had been signs of a storm, the fate of the three lighthouse keepers has been debated endlessly and what happened to them remains unknown.

On January 14, Marissa Carmichael went out to enjoy a Saturday night with some friends. When a boat is found without any passengers on board, drifting in the sea, it is refered to as a ghost ship. There have been many instances throughout history where boats have been discovered in this eerie manner, and the fates of those who were supposed to be on board remain unknown.
