LA Mayor Bass is racing to clean up sprawling homeless encampments around the city -- but does that equal success?

  • Summary

  • Several large homeless encampments in South LA neighborhoods will be the next targets of the city's aggressive efforts to remove pockets of tents and makeshift shelters.  Up next on that list are encampments in West LA.

This comes after Mayor Bass was out in Venice a few weeks back overseeing the removal of a large encampment there.

Wendy Greuel is a former LA City Controller and current chair of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, she joins us live on LA's afternoon news.
